Miscarriage Rates
The miscarriage rates in the first trimester is rather high, especially if a woman had a history of a cone biopsy, cervical cancer and other severe disorders.
According to statistics, the miscarriage rate of clinically recognized pregnancies is about 8 percent. They can take it as a heavy menstrual period. Many of these cases occur before the women are aware that they are pregnant. Miscarriages in the general population range from 10-20 percent.

Smoking and alcohol drinking increase the chances of spontaneous abortion. The chance of subsequent miscarriage is only about 2 percent.
